How do we find out about accidents? Why do we park in certain locations? And do we use spotters or scanners? Let’s start off with, why do we park in certain locations? There are a couple of reasons that our drivers could be parked at various locations. Throughout the southeast corner of Queensland. One reason is that it may be a known accident hotspot. Because of this, we believe that the quicker we respond, attend the accident. The quicker the accident is cleared and the traffic is free to flow once again.
Another reason is to serve our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible. When our fleet of dedicated tow operators are between jobs, they are strategically placed. In service areas so that our response time is reduced. Now, getting onto how do we find out about accidents and do we use scanners? Well, there are many ways that we find out about accidents. Some of these include being contacted by friends and family. The information can also come from our customers or insurance companies. We get messages by Facebook, and at times our drivers come across accidents throughout the course of their day. Back in the day, we used to listen to the emergency services, via a scanner. However, these days the government has switched to a digital-based platform Which is not accessible to anyone outside of their respective departments.
Regardless of how we find out about accidents, it is our aim to clear the road as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible. For most of you, it is the first time you have had an accident. So we also aim to explain how we can help you and what you’re entitled to. Please remember that you have the right to choose the towing company of your choice, as long as they are an industry licensed driver and vehicle. You can verify this by asking to see their driver industry authority license. Something that they should have already shown you. By citing the license number on the side of the truck.
As one of the first responders to an accident, we want to be your knight in shiny truck in your hour of need. So if there’s anything that we can do to make this as stress-free as possible for you, please do not hesitate to contact our team. If you don’t have one already, hit us up for a copy of an accident breakdown guide. Which gives you information on what to do when you’re involved in an accident, or if you’re broken down. These guides are great for any driver, but in particular young drivers, so let us know if you need a couple sent to you.
Well, I hope that answers your questions and I look forward to catching up with you all in our next Towology 101 video. So stay safe and don’t forget our number. You can contact us anytime.

In fact, I happen to be one of the boss’s daughters, and I’m pretty sure I’m the favourite. Just in case this is the first time that you’re joining us, we are doing this as a part of a series called Towology 101.
